New, comments

Nearly every week this season there’s a Raiders player up for a weekly award. This time it’s Amari Cooper, getting his first turn at a weekly award this season as he is up for the Castrol Edge Clutch of the Week award.

With the score tied at 20-20 late in the fourth quarter and the Raiders driving, Coop caught a short pass, made a move to juke two defenders, then outran two other defenders to sprint 39 yards for what would be the game winning touchdown.

Other nominees are:

Eric Ebron, Detroit Lions

Ebron caught a 61-yard pass from Matthew Stafford, and later, rushed for a 1-yard touchdown, helping the Lions win 26-19 over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins

Tannehill led the Dolphins on touchdown drives on Miami's last two possessions, leading his team to a 14-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Winston passed for 331 yards and a touchdown to upset the Kansas City Chiefs, 19-17.

Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers

Bell finished with a season-high 146 rushing yards and a touchdown, and also had 55 receiving yards in a 24-9 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
