There are adult Raiders fans who can’t remember the last time the Raiders were in a playoff game. That’s because it’s been 14 years since they played in one. That game was Super Bowl XXXVII against the Buccaneers following the 2002 season.
Now, after 14 long years, they’re back... baby.
They secured their spot in the playoffs with their 19-16 victory over the Chargers Sunday, improving their season record to 11-3.
With the Dolphins winning Saturday night, the Raiders winning today was the only way they were going to clinch this weekend. They took care of business and punched their ticket to the playoffs.
