It’s been all about Bruce Irvin this week for the Raiders. Now the league has recognized his performance by naming him the week 15 AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Irvin, who is not one to shy away from talking, had a simple response via Twitter:

What a game Irvin had in beating up Philip Rivers and the Chargers. He had 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble, a team-leading six tackles, and three QB hits, including the one that caused the game ending interception.
The Chargers’ tackles and Rivers had no answer for him.
Irvin likes to call himself Robin to Khalil Mack’s Batman. Robin took the spotlight on that day and joined Mack who won the AFC DPOW twice in November.
