Khalil Mack up for Clutch Performer of the Week, Latavius Murray for Fedex Ground Player of the Week

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Oakland Raiders Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Another week and another nomination for a weekly award for a member of these 2016 Oakland Raiders. Two of them in fact, because both Khalil Mack and Latavius Murray are up for honors this week.

Mack is nominated for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week and Latavius Murray is nominated for the FedEX Ground Player of the Week

Khalil Mack has been seriously clutch the past two weeks with huge strip sacks to close out both wins against the Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills. Mack wasn’t able to win the award last week because his teammate Derek Carr took it home, but he has a very good chance to win it this week instead.

His nomination is for his total awesomeness against the Buffalo Bills though, where he tipped Tyrod Taylor’s arm on a key interception before having a strip sack and forced fumble with the fumble recovery to seal the victory. Oh yeah, and he also added 7 tackles as well.

As for Latavius Murray, his 20 carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns was enough to get him in the ballot this week for the FedEX Ground Player of the Week. He has stiff competition though because Thomas Rawls for Seattle had two touchdowns and 106 yards on 15 carries and the Bears Jordan Howard had 3 touchdowns and 117 yards on 32 carries.
