I think at this point, we might just want to figure that if there’s a Raiders player up for an award that is won via fan vote, they’re going to get it. This week it was Latavius Murray up for FedEx Ground Player of the Week, and he took home the honors.
Murray was nominated on the strength of his 82-yard, 2 touchdown effort in a win over the Bills last week.
Because of his win, $2,000 will be given to The USO in Murray’s name.
Also up for a weekly award is Khalil Mack. He is nominated for Clutch Player of the Week, an award that has been won by a Raiders player five times already this season — 4 times by Derek Carr, and once by Amari Cooper.
