The sixth season of NFL Network’s series A Football Life presents its latest installment tonight with Charles Woodson getting the in-depth treatment.
The one-hour show features guests including former coach Jon Gruden, former teammates Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews, Khalil Mack, Brian Griese, mother Georgia Woodson and more.
Here is the trailer:
Few players’ lives deserve to be chronicled more than Charles Woodson. From being named Ohio’s Mr Football as the best high school football player in the state, to winning the Heisman Trophy, to being drafted by the Raiders at 4th overall, to winning a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers and his return to Oakland to finish off his illustrious 18-year NFL career.
Woodson discusses the Tuck Rule game, which he calls “the worst call in the history of sports.” And he’s right.
He also talks about his return to Oakland after a 7-year stint in Green Bay.
“I wish that everybody in the world could feel the way someone like myself feels at that particular moment,” says Woodson. “If they could just feel that way for an hour, it would be worth it.”
We here at Silver & Black Pride are happy to have played our part in helping to organize the welcoming party for Woodson when he visited Alameda and signed with the team.
