2016 NFL Mock Draft: Mel Kiper mock 2.0 has Raiders going with CB Eli Apple

The latest mock drafts sure have the Raiders liking them some Ohio State players. The latest coming from Mel Kiper who predicts the Raiders go with Buckeye cornerback Eli Apple. This after NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah had them going with Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott at pick 14.

Here is what Kiper has to say about the selections of Apple:

Cornerback is a major need for the Raiders, which should be addressed in free agency and the draft. Apple is going to deal with some growing pains because he needs to be better from a technical standpoint and not so reliant on his physical ability, but he has coveted above-average size and tremendous potential.

Kiper previously had the Raiders taking offensive tackle Jack Conklin out of Michigan State, but in his latest mock, Conklin goes to the Eagles the pick before the Raiders selection.

Here is his top 15:

1 Tennessee Titans *Laremy Tunsil,OT,Ole Miss
2 Cleveland Browns Carson Wentz,QB,North Dakota State
3 San Diego Chargers DeForest Buckner,DE,Oregon
4 Dallas Cowboys *Jared Goff,QB,California
5 Jacksonville Jaguars *Jalen Ramsey,CB,Florida State
6 Baltimore Ravens *Joey Bosa,DE,Ohio State
7 San Francisco 49ers *Myles Jack,OLB,UCLA
8 Miami Dolphins *Ronnie Stanley,OT,Notre Dame
9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers *Vernon Hargreaves III,CB,Florida
10 New York Giants *Noah Spence,OLB,Eastern Kentucky

12 New Orleans Saints Sheldon Rankins,DT,Louisville
13 Philadelphia Eagles *Jack Conklin,OT,Michigan State
14 Oakland Raiders **Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State

Up to now, there had been a lot of mock drafts that had the Raiders taking a cornerback. Most of them have them taking Clemson's Mackensie Alexander, who Kiper has slipping all the way to the Panthers at 30th overall.
