In the lead up to the actual on-field workouts for players at the Scouting Combine every year, few measurements are more publicized than the size of the quarterbacks' hands. Some NFL scouts put serious consideration into the size of the hands of the quarterback. With that in mind, Jared Goff now has a red flag on the scouting report.
Goff's hands measured an even 9 inches, which is tied for the second smallest among the quarterbacks at the 2016 combine. Only Arkansas Brandon Allen (8 7/8) had smaller hands.
The other quarterback who, depending on who you ask, could be taken ahead of Goff, is North Dakota State's Carson Wentz. He was one of five quarterbacks at the combine whose hands measured 10 inches or more.
