Floyd was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He declared early for the NFL draft and is expected to be drafted in the first or second round in April.
Mike Mayock has Floyd as his fourth ranked edge rusher. The 6-6, 244-pounder is a pure 3-4 rush outside linebacker. He has been a starter since he was a true freshman and posted 17.0 sacks and 28.5 tackles for loss in his three seasons. After posting 55 tackles in his freshman and sophomore seasons, he saw career highs with 74 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 3 passes defended as a junior.
Floyd turned some heads at the scouting combine with the second highest vertical jump (39.5"), and third longest broad jump (10'7") among linebackers. He also had the fifth fastest 40-yard-dash (4.60).
