This offseason, the bulk of their reported visits have been at least second round prospects. This is much different than last offseason when most of the reported visits for the Raiders were players were either low round prospects or not expected to be drafted. Ryan Brown more closely fits that level of prospect and he is visiting the Raiders according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.
Brown is considered one of those players who has all the raw talent and physical abilities you want in a player, but it never quite showed up on the field. The 6-6, 265-pound defensive end had just 7.5 sacks in four seasons at Mississippi State.
Making matters worse for his draft stock, he suffered a stress fracture in his right foot last last season which caused him to have to back out of the East West Shrine game as well as the Senior Bowl.
Brown also has visits lined up with the Saints and Dolphins. As a New Orleans native, you'd have to figure if he goes undrafted, he would favor signing with the Saints.
