So the Raiders have solidified their offensive line with guard/tackle Kelechi Osemele and bolstered their pass rush with linebacker Bruce Irvin, but have yet to address their secondary. That may change sooner than later, according to this tweet from AFC West insider Bill Williamson:
This Bruce Irvin thing blindsided a lot of folks involved. Another name to keep on #Raiders' radar: Janoris Jenkins

Possibly adding to the veracity of this report is another tweet from Sirius XM NFL Radio's Eddie Borsilli.
Raiders amping up the pursuit of Janoris Jenkins per source. Getting a top CB is a must

We have all heard chatter today about the Rams desiring to retain Jenkins' services, but let's revisit this tweet Jenkins himself made quite recently:
Total disrespect when u held down one side all 4 years and force the ball the other way.. #ThanksButNoThanks
— Mr.Pix6Sh*t/Clamps (@JjenkzLockdown) February 29, 2016
Jenkins of course is referring to the Rams' decision to retain fellow cornerback Trumaine Johnson instead of tagging Jenkins. Perhaps Jenkins has had time to think it over, but the tweet hasn't been deleted and a good offer from the Raiders could probably alleviate any doubts Jenkins has about departing the Rams and their new digs in Los Angeles.
We will be on top of the latest news about Janoris Jenkins and all other Raiders free agency news in the coming days, so stay tuned to Silver and Black Pride!
