When all is said and done, the Broncos may not have much left of their Super Bowl team. They are getting picked apart like a 3-day-old gazelle carcass in the middle of the Serengeti. The latest is inside linebacker Danny Trevathan, who was arguably the top ILB target on the market. He heads to the Bears according to multiple reports.
Others to have already left town include Malik Jackson (Jaguars), and Brock Osweiler (Texans). They placed a low round tender on running back CJ Anderson which should have another team looking to steal him away.
Oh, and of course, Peyton Manning retired.
As for Trevathan, he was thought to receive strong interest from the Raiders and his former linebackers coach, Jack Del Rio. It turns out, he wanted to join his former head coach John Fox with the Bears.
The Raiders still need to look at upgrading the inside linebacker position. The top names out there are Jerrell Freeman and Derrick Johnson.
