The Raiders have been looking for secondary players in free agency, but a major option is now off the board. The Jaguars and former Browns safety Tashaun Gipson is on his way to Jacksonville per a report from Adam Schefter.
The #Jaguars signed S Tashaun Gipson to a 5-year deal worth a maximum of $35.5M, source said.

However, all is not lost for the Raiders as 95.7 The Game's John Middlekauff reports this may open the door to former Chargers safety Eric Weddle to join the Raiders.
Have heard there is mutual interest with Eric Weddle & the #Raiders. The Gipson deal could help pick up the pace

We will just have to wait for word on who the Raiders will sign, but we know that Weddle is open to joining Oakland and the Raiders will be very aggressive in the secondary this offseason, as they are continuing to pursue CB Sean Smith. Stay tuned to Silver and Black Pride as the dominoes continue to fall.
