Mike Mayock's mock draft has Myles Jack falling to Raiders at 14 overall

It must be the day before the draft, because Mike Mayock has put out his one mock draft of the year. The most interesting development is that Myles Jack, arguably the draft's top player, falls all the way to pick 14 where the Raiders gladly take him.

Jack said today that his injured knee may require microfracture surgery in a few years and that may scare away teams in the top of the draft from taking him. But at 14 overall, that selection could well be worth the risk. Or it could simply be worth it to have 3-4 years of a player the caliber of Jack if indeed his knee does shorten his career.

Not only would Jack be a great value at this spot, he would be a perfect fit for the Raiders defense as well as fill their need at inside linebacker. Mayock is arguably the most respected voice when it comes to the NFL draft and not only do I fully agree with the selection, but I trust it could very well go down just like he says.
