After taking Karl Joseph, who was the top safety on the Raider Draft Radar, the team went off the grid with their next two picks. Jihad Ward at 44 was a shocker for the wrong reasons, while Shilique Calhoun was a pleasant surprise as he was expected to go higher than the middle of the third round.
So, the board has been ravaged through three rounds in two days. Now the longest day of them all begins. Where they start early and cram four rounds of ‘sleeper' picks into one day. The Raiders have five picks (two in the 5th round) currently and many positions still to cover.
After going defense with their first three picks, maybe the offense will get some attention over the final five picks. Here are the players still remaining that have the goods to become Raiders today:
