The Vegas win totals are out for all 32 NFL teams. Among those with a line above .500 are the Raiders, who are currently set at 8.5 wins according to figures provided by Bovada. That line says Vegas odds makers expect an improved Raiders team from their 7-9 record in 2015.
The AFC West win totals stack up like this:
Over 9½ (-130, 10/13)
Under 9½ (EVEN, 1/1)
Over 7 (+105, 21/20)
Under 7 (-135, 20/27)
Unfortunately, their line is still third in the AFC West. If anything it illustrates how the odds makers see a three horse race it is between the Chiefs, Broncos, Raiders. It's also tied for 13th in the league win totals.
That seems to fit the general feeling about the division which saw the young 7-9 Raiders making improvements, the 11-5 Chiefs taking a slight step back (getting older, losing Sean Smith to the Raiders), and the 12-4 Super Bowl winning Broncos taking a larger step back with the retirement of Peyton Manning and several key players leaving in free agency.
