Analysis

Along with signing Washington wide receiver Jaydon Mickens, the Raiders added another Husky to their rookie minicamp attendees in special teams ace Marvin Hall. Hall rarely saw the field as a receiver, but he made big plays when the ball was in his hands as his 22.9 yards per reception in 2015 show. If Hall is to make the Raiders final roster, it will be on special teams due to his experience returning kicks and punts at Washington.

If his 4.28 40-yard dash is accurate, it puts him in rare company. It's reminiscent of another Taiwan Jones who ran a hand timed 4.28 at his pro day on the other side of the state at Eastern Washington.

Hall's impressive speed makes him a threat as a returner and the Raiders have uncertainty at the position as Andre Debose was sidelined last season due to injury. Hall has potential because of his athleticism and speed, he just doesn't have the production to back it up.
