Fan Poll: Choose wide receivers for All-Raiders Team

New, comments

Al Davis liked to throw the ball down the field and the Raiders had plenty of great playmakers to get vertical on opponents.

This is part four of SilverandBlackPride's All-Raiders Team fan poll and this installment focuses on the wide receivers that have represented the franchise.

The Raiders have a long and storied history of pass-catchers with blazing speed and big play capabilities. Al Davis and the Raiders favored the vertical game and these players were a huge part of the offensive game plans through the decades. We'd like to ask Raider Nation to vote on an All-Time Raiders Team.

The criteria is simple, select a player at each position you believe best embodied the essence of all things Silver and Black. The players you select did not have to win Super Bowls or be selected to Pro Bowls, just emulate the Greatness of the Raiders.

Below is a poll with some of the wide receivers that have worn the colors. If you have another player in mind, simply add him in the comments and we will include your vote in the final tally. The top two vote-getter at wideout will be included on your All-Raiders Team.

Consider, if you will, one of Al Davis' famous foundational quotes when choosing: "Speed kills. You can't teach speed. Everything else in the game can be taught, but speed is a gift from God."
