Fan Poll: Choose tight end for All-Raiders Team

New, comments

The organization has a great tradition of game-breakers at the tight end position dating back to the 1960s.

QB Cotton Davidson (19) looks for TE Bob Mischak (87) during a 35-17 win over the Buffalo Bills at Frank Youell Field in 1963.

This is part three of SilverandBlackPride's All-Raiders Team fan poll and this installment focuses on the tight ends that have represented the franchise.

The organization has a long and storied tradition of excellence at the tight end position. Over the years, several Raiders coaches have converted athletes from other positions and put their skill sets to use as blockers with the ability to make big plays in the passing game.

We'd like to ask Raider Nation to vote on an All-Time Raiders Team.

The criteria is simple, select a player at each position you believe best embodied the essence of all things Silver and Black.

The players you select did not have to win Super Bowls or be selected to Pro Bowls, just emulate the Greatness of the Raiders.

Below is a poll with some of the tight ends that have worn the colors. If you have another player in mind, simply add him in the comments and we will include your vote in the final tally. The top vote-getter at tight end will be included on your All-Raiders Team.

Consider, if you will, one of Al Davis' famous foundational quotes when choosing:

"The fire that burns brightest in the Raiders organization is the will to win."
