Raiders vs. Titans Preseason Week 3 Game Time Open Thread

New, comments

The Raiders will play in front of their home fans tonight for the first time this year against the Tennessee Titans!

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! Tonight is the all-important third preseason game, which means we're going to get some actual game planning and the starters will be in for a long time. Here's hoping we see some chemistry between Derek Carr and his receivers, ad continue to witness the offensive line throwing people around. I personally am looking for Menelik Watson to continue his strangehold on the RT spot.

Another exciting thing to watch will be the backup running backs for the Raiders. We'll get our first look at Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington should see plenty of snaps as well. Anyone who can step up to take the pressure off Latavius Murray is welcome to do so.

The Raiders defense will face a unique test against two Heisman winners in the same backfield for Tennessee, with Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry, but DeMarco Murray has had a strong preseason as well. Let's hope the Raiders defense has a strong showing against a good young team that is on the rise.
