Coming off an exciting, come-from-behind, barn burner in New Orleans, the Raiders head into their next game as 5-point favorites over the visiting Falcons. Though, this isn't a case of Vegas being a prisoner of the moment. The Raiders opened as 6.5-point favorites and as of Sunday night they were 4.5-point favorites.

And with less than a minute left in the game, following the Raiders touchdown, that's exactly where the game stood -- 34-33 in favor of the Saints. The Raiders made a gutsy call to go for two. Had they failed in that attempt, the game would have ended right on the Vegas line. But the attempt was successful, and the Raiders to the one-point lead and the win.
The Falcons finished 8-8 last season while the Raiders finished 7-9. This suggests the odds makers like the direction they're seeing from the Raiders to make them such heavy favorites.
