Raiders-Titans week three injury report: Delanie Walker not practicing, Starting G Chance Warmack sent to IR

New, comments
Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

The Wednesday injury report brings some good news for the Raiders and some bad news for the Titans. Returning to practice for the Raiders was right tackle Menelik Watson. Meanwhile Austin Howard, who started in place of Watson last week, was sat out.

The Titans are having offensive line issues of their own. starting guard, Chance Warmack was officially placed on injured reserve today following surgery on his injured hand. Expected to take Warmack's place at right guard is either Brian Schwenke -- a former 4th round pick out of Cal -- or Josh Kline, who was recently claimed off waivers from the Patriots.

A potentially much bigger loss for the Titans would be Pro Bowl tight end Delanie Walker who didn't practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He was the team's leading receiver last season, with nearly twice as many receiving yards (1088) than any other receiver on the roster. His availability will be worth watching this week.
