Raiders-Ravens injury report: Ravens starting LT Ronnie Stanley in walking boot

New, comments
Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

While the Raiders have been having major issues at the right tackle position, the Ravens now have a serious issue at left tackle. Rookie sixth overall pick Ronnie Stanley who has been startint at left tackle for the Ravens missed practice on Wednesday with a foot injury. And according to the Baltimore Sun, he was in a walking boot.

Fellow rookie tackle Alex Lewis would be in line to replace Stanley, but he also missed practice. He is in the concussion protocol and if he is not cleared, it would leave James Hurst as the likely candidate to start there. Hurst didn't play well at left tackle last season, prompting the Ravens to move Kelechi Osemele there instead. But as we know, Osemele is now playing for the Raiders.

Speaking of the Raiders' right tackle spot, Austin Howard and Menelik Watson were not practicing again. However, Matt McCants returned. If he is available Sunday, he will start at right tackle.
