Raiders vs. Broncos First Half Open Thread

New, comments

This one is for the division title.

Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

Happy New Year, Raider Nation! Today the Raiders are in Denver, taking on the hapless Broncos. If the Raiders can find a way to win this game behind backup quarterback Matt McGloin, they will win the AFC West and earn the #2 seed in the AFC Playoffs. If they don't, they have to rely on the Chargers to defeat the Chiefs.

Matt McGloin will be jumping into the deep end of the pool for this one, going against the top pass defense in football. However, Denver is without a number of defensive starters today so it will be easier than it normally would be. We'll definitely get a good look at what McGloin is made of today. Hopefully, we'll have nothing to worry about.
