Divisional Playoff Open Thread: Patriots vs. Texans

New, comments

The cow on the Texans' helmets travels to Foxboro for slaughter tonight.

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! Tonight is the second game of the Divisional Round between the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. The Texans bounced the Raiders last week, while New England had the first round off, as they do every year.

The Texans do actually have the best defense in football this year, for all the good it will do them against Tom Brady and his army of white receivers. Gym rats and students of the game, the lot of them. Jadeveon Clowney could be a wild card in this game, though. He was a major factor in the Texans' win over Oakland and will seek to prove himself again in the playoffs.

The Texans' offense is pathetic and will have a hard time moving the ball against the Patriots, even though I still can't name any of the players on New England's defense. I'm not sure Bill Belichick can either.

This game will air on CBS at 5:30 PM Pacific.
