Watch some of the nation's best college players show their stuff for pro scouts!

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider Nation! Today on the eve of the conference championship games we have the first of several college all-star games. This one is the East-West Shrine Game coming to you from The Trop in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The East-West Game is an opportunity for many players from smaller colleges to take a turn in front of NFL scouts and make a name for themselves against what may be a higher level of competition than they are used to. Plenty of solid NFL players have come through the Shrine Game and it's a great place to find some diamonds in the rough- and as we all know, that is Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie's specialty.

Two of the more interesting prospects in my eyes are, firstly, Gunner Kiel, quarterback of Cincinnati for the West team. He has bounced from program to program in recent years after being a five-star prospect out of high school, so it's hard to get a real handle on his skill level. Secondly, defensive tackle Joey Ivie of Florida will line up across from Kiel on the East side. He's a mammoth tackle with good instincts and the ability to clog the lane and push the pocket.

Hopefully some players will stand out as much as past alumni of the East/West Game have done, such as the players pictured below:
