AP NFL All Pro 2017 team: Khalil Mack, Kelechi Osemele first team, Marquette King 2nd team

New, comments

The Associated Press has released their selections for the All Pro team with a couple Raiders in its ranks. Khalil Mack makes first team for a second consecutive season, while left guard Kelechi Osemele is named first team All Pro for the first time in his career.

Punter Marquette King was named second team All Pro with Rams punter Johnny Hekker garnering the first team honors.

Last year Mack made history by being named All Pro at both defensive end and linebacker. That is likely what prompted a change of designation by AP, creating the position of ‘Edge rusher’.

Mack and Osemele were near unanimous selections. Osemele topped out Raiders vote-getters with 47, Mack next with 46. Marquette King managed to be named second team with just 4 votes. Raiders players to receive votes but not enough to be named All Pro were Rodney Hudson (5), Derek Carr (1), and Donald Penn (1).
