Dolphins vs. Steelers Wild Card Playoff Open Thread

Two of Oakland's ancient enemies clash today in chilly conditions.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider fans! One of the many unfortunate aspects of the Raiders' loss yesterday was that now a team we don't like is going to be in the Super Bowl. Two of those teams will be playing one another today in Pittsburgh, as the Dolphins come to town and take on the third-seed Steelers.

The temperature in Pittsburgh today is 14 degrees, but it feels like 1 degree. That's really cold and it favors the Steelers, as the Dolphins are a soft southern team that prefers the heat and does not have Larry Csonka anymore to power them through frigid conditions.

If the Steelers win, they will go to Kansas City next week and will more than likely destroy the Chiefs, so there at least is something to look forward to. If Miami wins, they'll head to New England and that will give us Miami at New England and Houston at Kansas City, which would be the two most boring playoff games of all time. They will end 50-6 and 3-2.

So, umm... how about them Cowboys?

This morning's game will be broadcast on CBS at 10:00 a.m. Pacific.
