The game started off slow for Oakland, with the Raider offense unable to get into a rhythm or get a first down for their first few drives. Denver took advantage with a long drive and some sharp passing from ol’ shower-briefs himself, Trevor Siemian. They added a field goal to make the score 10-0.
But the Raiders defense woke up after that and bottled up Denver, with the pass rush forcing Siemian to rush his throws. Derek Carr connected with Johnny Holton on a long passing touchdown, capping off a 99-yard drive after Denver had pinned Oakland inside the 1-yard line on a punt. The tide seems to be turning in Oakland’s favor, so let’s see if they can keep it up and pull out a win!
