Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Panthers vs. Eagles

Greetings, Raider Nation! It’s time to kick off Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season, and that means Thursday Night Football. Tonight’s game features two pretty good teams, unlike most Thursday games. We get the Eagles taking on the Panthers, in a battle of former Oregon running backs with LeGarrette Blount taking on Jonathan Stewart.

Fun fact, I recently bought Madden 18 and when I did my Raiders season, the team I met in the Super Bowl was the Eagles. Once again, they lost in the big game and remain without a Lombardi Trophy even in make-believe land.

He-Man woman hater Cam Newton is coming off one of his best games as a pro, defeating the Lions last week almost single-handedly. Can he outduel Carson Wentz and Eagles head coach Not Brett Favre?
