This week the Raiders head to Buffalo where the Bills are favored by three points according to Bovada.lv courtesy of OddsShark.
There are a few logical reasons for this line.
- Records: The Bills are 4-2 on the season and 3-0 at home. The Raiders are 3-4 on the season and 1-2 on the road. Their common opponents are the Jets and Broncos. The Bills beat both teams while the Raiders beat the Jets and lost to the Broncos.
- Location: It’s in Buffalo where the Bills have not lost this season. That also means an East Coast trip for the Raiders which never favors the West Coast team.
- Weather: It’s expected to rain in Buffalo over the weekend. The Raider are at their best when they’re throwing the ball around the yard and if it’s a wet, muddy game, that’s not conducive to high-flying vertical football.
The Raiders beat the Bills in their last meeting, coming from down 24-23 in the fourth quarter to a convincing 38-24 win. But that was in Oakland and that was last season. Despite the big win over the Chiefs Thursday Night, this is still the team that rattled off 4-straight losses. The Raiders are still in ‘prove it’ mode.
