Thursday is usually when there’s good news on the injury report. Players returning to practice and such. Not this time. This time it brought bad news for the Raiders. Karl Joseph, who was limited on Wednesday with a groin issue, didn’t practice Thursday. And Marquette King, who wasn’t on the injury report at all Wednesday, was limited with his own groin issue.
Corners David Amerson (foot) and Gareon Conley (shin) both have missed both practices this week. Conley, of course, has been out since week 3.
Only the four players who were resting Wednesday or whose absences were not injury related returned. The Bills still have five players not at practice with injuries — tight end Charles Clay (knee), cornerback EJ Gaines (hamstring), linebacker Ramon Humber (thumb), guard Richie Incognito (ankle), and safety Jordan Poyer (knee).
All five missing Bills players are starters, so that could be trouble for them should they not be able to play.
