Raiders-Bills injury report: Karl Joseph doubtful, David Amerson out

New, comments
NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Raiders’ secondary is going to be depleted when they play in Buffalo Sunday. Karl Joseph was unable to practice all week with a groin injury and is doubtful to play against the Bills. He is joined by cornerbacks David Amerson and Gareon Conley who are both out.

Expected to replace Joseph is rookie 7th round pick, Shalom Luani. The absence of both Amerson and Conley could put Sean Smith back in the starting lineup along with TJ Carrie with Dexter McDonald again seeing significant snaps.

The Bills are banged up too. They have three starters out — tight end Charles Clay (knee), cornerback EJ Gaines (hamstring), and linebacker Ramon Humber (thumb).
