NFL week 5 game picks, predictions, week 4 results

We’re onto the second quarter of the 2017 NFL season tonight with the Patriots facing the Buccaneers. The first quarter was going fine for game picks until last week when shit really hit the fan.

Only two of the staff even had a winning record in their picks last week. My 10-6 mark was the best of the week. I was the only one who picked the Saints to beat the Dolphins, which helped. That win jumped me up to the head of the class at least for now with a 39-24 season mark for picks.

As a staff, we only got two picks wrong across the board with no one expecting the Panthers to beat the Patriots and the Bills to take out the Falcons. Not a good week for the two Super Bowl teams. We also got five unanimous selections correct.

RDreamer was the only one to correctly pick the Broncos over the Raiders last week. The rest of us thought Washington was an anomaly and were wrong. Did we learn? Apparently not, because we all picked the Raiders again to beat the Ravens. We’ll see if RaiderDamus is onboard as well or if he goes rogue again in his Friday Foretelling*.

The community had quite a few who bested my 10-6 mark for this week. RaiderMaester somehow managed to get 12 correct picks in this crazy week. Among the runners up for the week was is Riglord who has the top overall record with an impressive 42-21 mark.
