2017 NFL Week 5 Early games open thread

Greetings, Raider Nation! The Raiders play a late game today, but there are plenty of games this morning to whet our appetites. The early slate is highlighted by the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions against the Carolina Panthers, who are coming off a big win over the New England Patriots.
