Wednesday the Raiders hit the field for their first practice of the week in Sarasota Florida in preparation for their meeting with the Dolphins Sunday in Miami. Among those who didn’t see the field was right guard Gabe Jackson who suffered an ankle injury.
Also not practicing for the Raiders was Cory James (knee), cornerback Demetrius McCray (knee), and of course Gareon Conley (shin).
Returning after missing practice last week along with the game in Buffalo was David Amerson and Karl Joseph. Both were limited as was linebackers Marquel Lee (ankle) and Nicholas Morrow (ankle) and full back Jamize Olawale (hamstring).
“We’re hopeful, yeah,” Del Rio said of Joseph’s status. “I think he’s going to try and practice a little bit today, we’ll see how it goes and see how the week goes. That’s still a little bit of a question mark.”
Just one player was missing for the Dolphins. It was defensive end William Hayes who has a hamstring injury.
