NFL week 9 odds, bettting lines: Raiders 3-point favorites over Dolphins in Miami

Apparently the oddsmakers aren’t convinced the Raiders are as bad as they looked last week against the Bills. Or maybe they think the Dolphins are just that much worse. I’m gonna go with the latter.

Even though the Dolphins are 4-3 and the Raiders are 3-4 on the season, the Raiders are favored by three points over the Dolphins in Miami Sunday night according to courtesy of Odds Shark.

Prior to their 40-0 shut out loss to the Ravens last week, the Dolphins had won three in a row. The Raiders, on the other hand, have lost five of their last six games.

Jay Cutler is 31st in the league with 995 yards passing. Only Trevor Siemian and Joe Flacco have worse passer ratings among starting quarterbacks than Cutler’s 78.8. And Siemian just lost his starting job. And 24 other quarterbacks have more TD passes than Cutler’s 7.

Which I guess means he is ripe for a breakout game. At least that’s what the Raiders have meant for several other struggling opposing offenses this season.
