2018 NFL Pro Bowl voting now open, here are the Raiders on the ballot

New, comments
NFL: Pro Bowl Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

It’s always seemed a little strange to me to open Pro Bowl voting with still nearly half the NFL season remaining. But that’s just the nature of the beast and those who ignore it will fall behind.

So, here we are with 7 games remaining and Pro Bowl voting now open.

Those Raiders on the ballot are:

Offense:

QB Derek Carr, RB’s Marshawn Lynch and Jalen Richard, WR’s Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, FB Jamize Olawale, TE Jared Cook, OT’s Donald Penn and Marshall Newhouse, OG’s Kelechi Osemele and Gabe Jackson, and C Rodney Hudson

Defense:

DE Khalil Mack and Mario Edwards Jr, DT’s Justin Ellis and Eddie Vanderdoes, ILB NaVorro Bowman, OLB’s Bruce Irvin and Cory James, CB’s David Amerson and TJ Carrie, SS Karl Joseph, and FS Reggie Nelson

Special teams:

K Giorgio Tavecchio, RS Cordarrelle Patterson, P Marquette King, and ST Erik Harris

The Pro Bowl players are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 AllStar players who will be eligible for the Pro Bowl. Fan voting closes on December 14, 2017.

Vote as often as you like.
