Tonight the Raiders and Patriots head down south of the border for their week 11 match-up in Mexico City.
It’s the second season in a row the Raiders have taken one of their home games and moved it to Mexico City -- a combination of boosting the NFL brand internationally and playing one less game at the old Oakland-Alameda Coliseum.
Last season Raiders had a very Silver & Black crowd against the Texans. This year indications are they won’t have the same ‘home’ feel as the Patriots have a pretty large following down there (bandwagon and all that).
The Patriots have the distinction of being the NFL’s number one offense while being the NFL’s worst defense. Or so it would seem. They give up a lot of yards, but not a lot of points. Meanwhile the Raiders have been inconsistent on offense and consistently bad on defense.
