Happy Thanksgiving, Raider fans! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day filled with food, family, fun and football. We’ve got three games on the slate today, and the first one is the annual Lions game in Detroit. This year, and for the second year in a row, the Lions are facing the Vikings at Ford Field on Turkey Day.

The Vikings have much to be thankful for today. They are 8-2 and in first place in their division. History tells us they will choke in spectacular fashion at some point between now and the Super Bowl, but for now they’re enjoying the fruits of their labor. Case Keenum is playing surprisingly well and last week I personally saw Latavius Murray run through an arm tackle for the first time in his life.

The Lions are 6-4 and will get star pass rusher Ezekiel Ansah back from injury today, and they will need him to slow down the efficient Vikings offense. The Lions’ passing attack is potent, but the Vikings have one of the NFL’s best secondaries with Trae Waynes and Harrison Smith.

So while that turkey is cooking, take a break and watch some NFC Norris action. Enjoy the game!
