Greetings, Raider Nation! The final game of the evening is upon us, and it’s an NFC East divisional battle pitting the mediocre Washington Indigenous Persons against the sorry-ass New York Giants, who somehow were able to defeat the Kansas City Chefs not five days ago.
While Washington is treading water like the completely average team they are, the Giants have cratered due to terrible coaching by Ben McAdoo and their entire receiving corps being lost to injury. The Giants were a trendy pick for the division title before the season began, but are currently in line for a top-5 draft pick. Could they look to draft Eli Manning’s successor? It’s not like they haven’t gone that route before, drafting Manning himself to take over for Kurt Warner, who wasn’t done yet, and took the Cardinals to the Super Bowl before retiring.
The Persons will draft somewhere around #18 and will take a lineman because they are boring. Same as it ever was.
May peace and leftover turkey sandwiches be upon you all, Amen.
