The list of players missing practice for the Raiders was a long one Wednesday. In total there were eight players missing and three players limited. It would have been more but Cory James was placed on injured reserve today.

Two of those missing were Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin getting their usual veteran days off which they have earned with their string of sacks lately.

As expected Amari Cooper missed practice today after aggravating his ankle injury against the Chiefs.

New to the injury report was defensive end Mario Edward Jr (ankle), safety Obi Melifonwu (hip), and tight end Clive Walford (concussion/neck).

Defensive lineman Denico Autry is still nursing his hand injury as well as an ankle injury causing him to miss practice. Cornerback David Amerson was limited with the foot injury that has kept him out the past six weeks. He was limited last week and didn’t play against the Chiefs Sunday. Tight end Jared Cook was also limited with a wrist injury.

The Cowboys also had six players missing practice due to injury. They were former Raiders wide receiver Brice Butler (foot), tackle La’El Collins (back), tight end James Hanna (knee), defensive tackle David Irving (concussion), cornerback Orlando Scandrick (back), and tackle Tyron Smith (back).
