Raiders-Cowboys injury report: Denico Autry returns to practice, David Amerson back on the shelf

New, comments
NFL: Oakland Raiders at Buffalo Bills Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Not a whole lot changed today from Wednesday’s practice. Still not practicing were Amari Cooper (ankle), Mario Edwards Jr (ankle), Obi Melifonwu (hip), and Clive Walford (concussion/neck). Missing the first two practices of the week is usually an indication these players are unlikely to play.

Re-joining them was cornerback David Amerson who had been back to practice, but hasn’t played for the past six weeks with an injured foot. His return to the sideline is not a good sign for his availability going forward.

Returning to practice today was Denico Autry (hand/ankle) and Jon Feliciano (concussion). Autry is great news as he would start in place of Edwards. Feliciano practicing means he’s passed the first stage of the concussion protocol.

Still missing for the Cowboys was wide receiver Brice Butler (foot), defensive tackle David Irving (concussion), and cornerback Orlando Scandrick. Returning was tackle La’el Collins (back), tight end James Hanna (knee), and tackle Tyron Smith (back).
