3017 Week 15 open thread: Bears vs. Lions

Greetings, Raider fans! I hope you’re getting into the holiday spirit, because in addition to the plethora of college bowl games going on today, we have two NFL games!

The first of these is an NFC North battle between two teams who are looking up at the Vikings in the division, the Bears and Lions at Ford Field in Detroit. The Lions are looking to keep their slim hopes alive, while the Bears are deciding which of their many needs to address in free agency and the draft while building their team around young QB Mitchell Trubisky.

The Lions are led by QB Matthew Stafford and an underrated receiving corps, and remain unable to run the football. The Bears are led by crippling depression and RB Tarik Cohen. The game will be broadcast live on the NFL Network.
