Well, that could have gone better.
After a frontal assault from both the Cowboys and the referees, the Raiders trail at the half, 10-0. While the Raiders’ play has been listless and uninspiring, they do get the ball to start the second half and their offense showed signs of life at the end of the second quarter.
The defense which had been shredded in the first part of the game also came to play in the second quarter, increasing its pressure on Dak Prescott with Khalil Mack picking up yet another sack.
While the game has sucked so far with zero points on the board, only the clock and the refs prevented Oakland from driving for a touchdown at the end of the half so perhaps they will show more fire after the break. We can only hope.
