In one of the more surprising announcements, the Raiders have four players on the 2018 Pro Bowl roster. That’s Khalil Mack and the entire left side of the line again — C Rodney Hudson, G/T Kelechi Osemele and T Donald Penn.

Named as alternates are LB NaVorro Bowman, QB Derek Carr, G Gabe Jackson, P Marquette King, RB Marshawn Lynch and KR Cordarrelle Patterson.

Mack is headed to his third consecutive Pro Bowl. He has started all 14 games this season and has recorded 77 tackles (56 solo), a team-leading 10.5 sacks (75.5 yards), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a career-high five passes defensed. His six sacks since Week 11 are tied for the most in the NFL. He is one of just three defenders league wide to put up double digit sacks the past three seasons.

Though they have struggled some against the run with the switch to more zone blocking this season, the Raiders offensive line has excelled in pass protection. The unit is tied for the fourth fewest sacks allowed in the NFL (21). Obviously Penn will have to opt out of the game as he was lost to a foot injury last week.

The 2018 Pro Bowl will be played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 28, 2018.
