Raiders-Giants inactives: David Amerson, Eli Apple both inactive

Another week without starting cornerback David Amerson for the Raiders as they prepare to face the New York Giants in Oakland.

Also inactive is Cory James with a knee injury. His absence is unexpected. Both he and Amerson were questionable on the team’s injury report. Gabe Jackson and Cordarrelle Patterson were also questionable and they will play.

Patterson will be needed due to Amari Cooper not playing this week with a concussion and Michael Crabtree suspended. Patterson and Seth Roberts will get the bulk of the snaps at receiver with Johnny Holton getting a fair amount as well.

The Giants aren’t in much better shape. After losing Pro Bowl cornerback Janoris Jenkins to injured reserve this week, Eli Apple is now inactive for the third straight week.
