That wasn’t so bad! The Raiders hold a 10-7 lead at the half, and they will get the ball to start the second half.
This game hasn’t been easy, as the Raiders have consistently shot themselves in the foot with penalties, bad playcalling and being careless. But the defense has stepped up with two strip-sacks of Giants QB Geno Smith. The first was by Bruce Irvin and recovered by Navorro Bowman, and the second was by Khalil Mack to end the Giants’ scoring threat at the end of the first half.
The Raiders opened the scoring with a long Marshawn Lynch touchdown run on their first drive of the game, but the Giants answered later with an Orleans Darkwa touchdown up the gut. The Raiders defense has been outstanding in this game so far, so let’s see if they can keep it up.
Enjoy the second half!
