Marquette King gave the most Marquette King response to flat earth question

New, comments

Today the sports world has been in somewhat of a collective head shaking, eye roll, face palm over Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving’s belief that the earth is flat. He’s not alone in this belief. There is a contingent of people around the globe that believe the earth is flat. They’re called ‘flat earth truthers.’

Here is just a taste of Irving’s sweet, sweet crazy:

“For what I’ve known for many years and what I’ve been taught is that the Earth is round, but if you really think about it from a landscape of the way we travel, the way we move and the fact that — can you really think of us rotating around the sun, and all planets align, rotating in specific dates, being perpendicular with what’s going on with these ‘planets’ and stuff like this.”

Someone asked Marquette King today whether he believes the earth is flat. And he answered as only Marquette King can.

“I [don’t know] I’m not from here...”

Perfect.

The fan who asked him the question was responding to King’s tweet saying “I’m just a figment of your imagination.”

King has become known for his celebrations on the field and his antics off of it. Some are funny, some are not so funny. But he is definitely a character, there is no doubt about it.

King is definitely ‘out there’. Though I doubt he’s quite ‘flat earth truther’ out there.
