We’re just days away from ‘The Big Game’. The Super Bowl. The Patriots and Falcons are in Houston preparing to face off while America prepares their snack trays and their plans to watch the final game of the season and see a champion crowned.
It’s quite a clash on Sunday with the Falcons boasting the league’s number one scoring offense and the Patriots the number one defense. Matt Ryan was the league’s top rated passer (117.1), was second in passing yards (4944) and second in passing touchdowns (38). His favorite target, Julio Jones led the league in yards per game (100.6) and was second in yards per catch (17.0) and receiving yards (1409).
They will try to score on a defense that allowed the fewest points this season (250).
The Falcons averaged over 33 points per game this season while the Patriots gave up just over 15 points per game. Something’s gotta give. And when it does, the team to come out on the other side will hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
